FREE Ovarian Cancer Symposium September 12th

Medical Professionals earn (3) Continuing Medical Education Credits

A free ovarian cancer symposium sponsored by Live Like Liz is scheduled for Saturday, September 12. The symposium is from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. and is open to the public. It will be held at the Cayuga Medical Center, Howell C/D Conference Room. Medical professionals will earn three continuing medical education credits upon completion of the symposium.

The featured speakers for the symposium are Brent DuBeshter, M.D., Director of Gynecologic Oncology and Professor of Oncology in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Rochester Medical Center; David Cho, M.D., Radiation Oncology at the Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca and Board President of the Cancer Resource Center; Shawn Galbreath, Executive Director of the Cancer Resource Center; Katie Gingrich, Ovarian Cancer Survivor.

Support for the symposium is provided by the course directors and moderators Pedro Cruz-Torres, M.D. and Jose Torrado, M.D. Space is limited.
