Patrick Dempsey Fire Suit being Auctioned
Patrick Dempsey donated his autographed fire suit from the Grand-American Road Racing Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No 16 in the GT Division (June 2008) to Live Like Liz. We are now actioning it off on eBay, Item # 320537866967.
Celebrity Chef Fundraiser at Glenora

Celebrity Chefs, Denis Amisano and Father Paul Bonacci, were on hand on March 25, 2010, for the 3rd Annual Live Like Liz Celebrity Chef Pasta night at Glenora. Thank you to all that attended to help Live Like Liz attain top ranking to date in the contest. Approximately 164 people were served. For each dinner served, Glenora will donate $2.00 to Live Like Liz, Inc. The charity group that bring in the most diners for the contest will have the $2.00 per dinner matched by Glenora. With your support, Live Like Liz has been the winner of the Celebrity Chef contest and has raised nearly $1000. We would like to thank Glenora for their continued support of our organization.

Ovarian Cancer Symposium a Success!
Medical professionals give positive feedback after September 12, 2009 Symposium held at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY.
A free ovarian cancer symposium sponsored by Live Like Liz was held Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Cayuga Medical Center. Medical professionals attending earned three continuing medical education credits upon completion of the symposium.
The featured speakers for the symposium were Brent DuBeshter, M.D., Director of Gynecologic Oncology and Professor of Oncology in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Rochester Medical Center; David Cho, M.D., Radiation Oncology at the Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca and Board President of the Cancer Resource Center; Shawn Galbreath, Executive Director of the Cancer Resource Center; Katie Gingrich, Ovarian Cancer Survivor.
